Too bad my conscience has gone astray, a very long while ago. My brain has been re-arranged, I don’t know whats right anymore. Too bad my misery has been eating away at my insides, making me reminisce on that day. The hate we recollect on, the pain we suffer from, only makes us weaker; easier to give in. We wonder why it happens, we ask each other why we caved. The truth in the matter is… maybe we were meant to go our separate ways. The lies, deceit and back-stabbing; maybe we’re just too much alike. So we walk our separate ways to find something more. Then we recollect for just one moment, to that night, and we walk away again.

Girls are always spreading rumors and bitching about the rumors other people spread. If rumors were true then I would be the new virgin Mary. Who spreads rumors about someone being pregnant when the girl had never had sex let alone even did anything more then kiss a guy at the time. Teen girls are so cruel.

In my life… I flirted with a guy in a famous local band, he was in a screamo band and was the lead screamer. We used to talk about life and each other, then he invited me to go to one of his shows. How could I say no? We started flirting and liking each other more, I started calling him my Peter Pan; I was his Wendy. We would even post on your facebooks “Waiting for Peter Pan to text me”, “Fly with me Wendy”. Finally went to one of his shows and was able to see his band in action and it was truly a very amazing feeling to see someone I knew playing in front of a crowd. After the show it was cold outside and we just starting snuggling each other. After that day I asked him if he would drive me to his next show which was further away. While we were at that concert He was dancing with me and holding me, then I got to watch his band play. It was the best night of my life! Sadly we are on bad terms from a misunderstanding we had back then. I want to still at least be friends with him… Nobody could ever top that night. He thought I was just using him because he was in a band. I Was Not, I Promise. I’m probably too late…

Time stands still but only for a moment; Time speeds up the rest of your life. Its wise to slow yourself down and open your eyes; its okay to close your eyes and let time fly by. You can choose to live in the moment; you can live in the past. The future is where your passion is; this moment is what makes you. Happiness and sadness; anger and depression. Time is what makes you, time is what breaks you; time is your hope, time is your fear. Just remember your time is your choice.

What is life? How do you become the best? trying to be the best sometimes is not good enough. Feeling hopeless is normal, its the happy people we should question. Life is not worth smiles and if it is.. why do others find it so hard to smile? Its like trying to cry about something that makes you laugh. The best thing to do is try your best, stop listening to other people’s opinions and feel however you want to feel.

     I’ve lived on the border of Vermont and New Hampshire my entire life. Spent 15 years on the New Hampshire side in Claremont, NH and then recently moved 30 minutes across the border to Hartford, VT where I’ve now lived in for 3 years. I am now 18 years of age and Yesterday Hurricane Irene hit Vermont. We were told that this was the safest place in the united states to live near water because there hasn’t been any tornadoes or floods since before I was born. I’ve lived my life hearing about all the natural disasters going on around the united states but now I’m hearing about the natural disaster going on right outside my house. The shopping centers in West Lebanon, New Hampshire were flooded. Walmart, restaurants, K mart… and more are not shoppable now. My boyfriend Who lived with a friend, lived right next to the river and their house is not flooded and not livable. He is now sleeping at my house and we are unable to find an apartment for the both of us around here thanks to hurricane Irene flooding all the apartments we were looking at. The Quechee bridge in Vermont was washed away by the raging river along with over 5 more bridges in Vermont. Houses that were close to lakes and other rivers were washed away along with many gas tanks and a few cars. This disaster has now caused a lot of panic and homelessness. I’m hoping that Vermont is strong enough to get through this and overcome this obstacle.
